I was hired in 2019 by Dr. Runye Zha to create 3D representations of cellular interactions to be used in presentations / business proposals for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering.
Making renders that were both appealing yet informative was a fun challenge. I ended up putting a lot of thought into things like color choices to try to contextualize the abstract concept of it all. I'd love to tackle this kind of work again someday, now that I have more sophisticated render engines available.
